There are two steps to becoming an affiliate in a Lemon Squeezy-powered program.
The first step is to apply to become an affiliate at affiliates.lemonsqueezy.com.
Lemon Squeezy reviews and vets every new applicant to the affiliates platform.
Make sure you can receive payouts in one of our supported countries. If you can't, unfortunately you cannot become an affiliate on Lemon Squeezy.
Once you've signed in to the Affiliate Hub you will need to fill in your affiliate profile. Once complete, you can submit it for approval.
If you already have a Lemon Squeezy account (i.e. you have bought something through Lemon Squeezy before, or you are a store owner) you be able to get to the Affiliate Hub from the "Affiliate Hub" link in your user menu.
If your application is accepted, you will be able to apply to join custom-visuals affiliate program on the platform.
Go directly to our affiliate program link and submit a request to join.
We will receive your request and review your application. You will be notified by email if you are successfully accepted into our affiliate program.
Once you're part of our affiliate program you will be given an affiliate URL, which contains a unique affiliate code.

Your affiliate URL will contain your affiliate code like this: ?aff=1234
Every time a prospective customer visits one of your affiliate URLs, an anonymous unique identifier will be created in Lemon Squeezy platform. If they then buy a product within a certain period (45 days) a referral will be created.
Tracking referrals with Lemon Squeezy requires no cookies and is privacy-friendly.
You can see all of the clicks and referrals generated from your affiliate links in the Affiliate Hub.
Every referral is initially marked as "Accepted". However, the status of a referral may change to one of the following:

| Accepted | The default status for a referral. |
| In Review | A merchant can flag a referral as “in review” to manually review it. Referrals can also become “in review” if the order has an unresolved dispute. These referrals will not be paid out until they are “accepted”. |
| Pending | Once a payout has been created for an affiliate, any referrals that belong to the payout will become “pending”. |
| Paid | A referral becomes “paid” once a payout has been settled. |
| Rejected | A merchant can flag a referral as “rejected” if they decide it is invalid. |
| Void | When the referral order has been refunded the referral will become void. |
All accepted referrals will be grouped together into your next payout.
On the 1st and 15th of each month, affiliate payouts are created from all approved referrals since the last payout. Referral commissions are held for 30 days before becoming available and then payouts are paid on the 14th and 28th of the month.
Our affiliate program have a minimum payout amount of $100 which may be higher than your current commission balance, which may delay your payout until the next cycle.
You can set up payouts to be made to a bank account or a PayPal account.
You can become an affiliate on Lemon Squeezy platform if you can accept PayPal or bank payouts in the hundreds of countries listed in supported countries.
Both bank and PayPal payouts will be made in USD. You may be charged a fee for currency conversion if required. Note that PayPal may charge you a fee to convert or withdraw your money once it’s in your PayPal account. Read more about PayPal fees here.
A small 2% fee will be taken by Lemon Squeezy platform from each referral, which will be deducted from your payouts.
